#SLW: INTERVISTA ALL’AD DI ATELIER 712
HI ANNALISA, TELL US WHAT YOU DO IN YOUR LIFE
I am fundamentally a creative person, I need a thousand stimuli and to see as many things as possible.
I design and make jewelry for my brand Atelier 7|12, a project all of my own.
This means doing research, dealing with my clients who almost always become good friends.
I try to make my work go far.
TELL US THE STORY OF YOUR FIRST BRACELET
On the first one I engraved “Nini“, that's what my grandparents called me.
Then the word “Forte“, which I still wear.
I think that jewels always have a very intimate meaning.
They make us think of a special person or remind us how special and strong we are.
WHEN DID YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT COULD BECOME A REAL PROJECT?
One day I had to send an order to Paris for an event at Le Bon Marché.
Then Vogue France chose to photograph my bracelets to talk about them, I was super excited.
There I understood that I was on the right path…
MORNING OR EVENING?
Morning of course!
In the morning I am full of energy and everything seems possible to me.
In my work I think that only lightness has emerged, my positive side.
But I am a little complicated, as all women are.
THIS PROJECT IS CALLED SHAFT LOVES WOMEN, #SLW.
WHEN DO YOU FEEL GOOD WEARING A CLOTHING?
A garment makes me feel good if it completes me, if it speaks my language, if it describes me
I choose a garment first because I find it beautiful. Beautiful means well made, I am always attracted by quality.
Like everyone, I have insecurities, but I am extremely determined when it comes to taste.
I know exactly what I like and what I don't, I know it immediately.
PARIS OR NEW YORK?
I couldn't give up either one.
I live Paris during fashion weeks, it makes me dream. Beauty everywhere, from the unique skies, to the gardens, to the people you only see there and on those days.
And I love New York because it has that crazy life force, that makes everything seem possible.
HOW IMPORTANT IS COLLABORATION TO YOU?
Over time I understood that it is essential.
I met people who guided me without competing, people who I saw sincerely happy for my successes.
I find it very difficult to ask for help, first I try to do it alone but I know that together we do better and find better solutions.
IF I SAY JEANS WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND?
Jeans always, morning and night, every day!
I also have a precious memory, when as a child I kept my hands clasped on my father's jeans when he took me around on his Vespa.
