As the famous designer Mary Quant would say “jeans are the greatest invention of all time”: actually, jeans have always and (perhaps) forever been part of the wardrobe of everybody: young and old, low cost or luxury, casual or elegant, each of us can find the right jeans for every occasion and for any age.
This does not mean that any pair of denim is trendy: let’s see what will be the most trendy combinations and models that will accompany us during 2021.
Total Look: a Gamble For The Bravest
This year, true denim’s lovers will be able to give free rein to their passion; in fact, the total look is back in vogue: jacket and trousers, jacket with skirt or mini dresses. To be combined tone-on-tone, or by mixing the different shades of jeans together. Only a warning: be careful not to overdo it.

Vintage Washes
Although the classic Pantone blue will always be present on store shelves (but especially in our wardrobe), the big news for this 2021 will be the vintage washes: discolored, fake worn, these will be the most fashionable washes for 2021.
70s Bootcut or Flare: The Real Denim’S Stars Of 2021
The biggest news in the world of denim fashion 2021 will concern models. This year under the spotlight we will no longer find super tight skinny jeans, or their exact opposite, the mom jeans (wide on the whole leg and then tighten at the ankle), but the 70s bootcut : these are tight pants on the thighs which then widen slightly on the calf. This model is larger then a skinny, however their width is moderate. By streamlining the figure, they are approved for everyone: even those who, due to an important calf or a squat thigh, have not felt fully comfortable with fashion models in the past years, thus having their revenge.
